DONATE SOME GOODNESS!
As you may have noticed, 365 now has a “donate” button!
What does that mean, you ask? Well, now that I am well on my way to 365 Good Deeds (165 down to be exact), people have started to ask how they can get involved. So, simple as it may sound, I decided to add that sweet little “donate” button on the side of the site. Now, with just a few clicks on your computer and some kindness in your heart, you can help join me on the quest–to share and inspire goodness every day of the year.
As you may know 365 Days of Goodness was a little idea I came up with at the end of last year. I had no idea where it was going to go. Well, 165 days later my heart is bursting with goodness. I have done all kinds of good deeds for friends, family, strangers, the homeless, our planet, animals…you name it! As I work part time, I always try to utilize ways to do good deeds on a “budget,” but 365 has some pretty big acts of kindness-well outside the “budget”– in the works (which will be announced here in the next few weeks) and for these I know I’m not going to be able to do them on my own. So I figured I’d get the ball rolling and create “Donations of Goodness” here on the site.
In addition, I know that many of you have busy days and may be having trouble completing certain acts of goodness that are calling to you. So, I’d like to help! If you’d like to sponsor a specific good deed… please feel free to describe the charity or act of goodness you’d like me to help when you contribute your donation of goodness. I can simply be the “middle-(wo)man” and do that act of goodness for you!

I expect to come into some money early in 2010 and a part of it I would like to give and would like to continue to give to worthy ideas that are good and make a difference for the better in the lives of people…especially those who are sick, poor, lacking in education, have not heard the good news(gospel) and the orphan and widow. I would like one of my acts of goodness to be in what I give financially in donations. I want to be kind and do what’s good in every way and give in every way; including giving financially.
I hope this site continues…I will come back…looking to give and having increasing resources to give to the kinds of work and giving that spreads and increases goodness in the world and in the lives of people. I’m searching for good and I encourage you to continue to do what is upright and good and kind and I support these good things with my thoughts, prayer’s, words, actions, and I hope(soon) financially(too).
