ROCK THE EARTH
September 10, 2009
So I just got back from an amazing Dave Matthews concert. Many of you who have been following me for a while probably know I’m quite the fan. You also may know I am quite the fan of environmental advocacy and groups that help our dear mother earth. So when I saw a booth entitled “Rock The Earth,” I became very intrigued.
I soon found out that Rock the Earth is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to protecting and defending America’s natural resources through partnerships with the music industry and the worldwide environmental community. Rock the Earth has worked on tons of major national environmental issues such as protecting isolated wetlands, eliminating raw sewage discharges, defending our national parks, protecting endangered species and many more.
Tonight I donated to the cause by purchasing some of their merchandise that they were selling at the concert. You can get involved with Rock The Earth by visiting them online or by looking for their booth at your next musical event.

Hi!! I was the young woman you talked to at the RtE booth! I was sorting through old business cards today (that I collected on the road) and I found yours! Finally made it to your site…wow. Beautiful. Inspiring. I love it all. I share so many of your thoughts, sentiments, and hopes for the world. I do hope our paths cross again sometime. Email me when you have a chance at vaborcherdt@gmail.com, so we can catch up!
Much love,
Virginia
