CLICKITY CLICK CLICK

June 9, 2009

Today was a busy day in the life of Alli D. Seigel, and as I got home after a very, very, long day, I had no idea what my act of goodness was going to be for the day.

As I was checking my email, I saw that I had mail from someone I didn’t know.  Apparently he is a fan of 365 and was passing along a website www.helpfromhome.org, where you can do charitable good deeds right from the comfort of your own home! How convenient for my current predicament this evening!

Once on the site www.helpfromhome.org I found there were hundreds of opportunities to help others right from the comfort your own computer!  I spent an hour or so on the site which led me to other sites and then other sites, where by clicking I could help those in need.  Simple stuff.  Pretty cool, huh?

By clicking on several different sites, I was able to help reduce carbon dioxide emissions, preserve wildlife, support medical care for the elderly, help fund a child’s education expenses, help plant an oak tree, help provide drinking water to those in need, and even give a free box of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese to the Feeding America project! And that is only  half of what I did tonight!  I couldn’t believe that I was able to help so many charities just by clicking away!

So if you’re looking to give back, but can’t seem to find the time, I suggest checking out these websites below.  You will be able to do many easy good deeds right from the comfort of your own home.  Bottom line?  You really do have the power to help change the world right at your fingertips!
