WILL YOU MARRY ME?!

I experienced something that I have never experienced before when I was working at the restaurant a few days ago.  I witnessed a marriage proposal happening right in the first booth!  The groom to be called the restaurant ahead of time and asked if we could put the phrase “Will You Marry Me?!” in one of our menus.

When they arrived and she opened her menu she was shocked and delighted by the surprise proposal!  Since I never know when a good deed is going to pop up in life, I always carry my very handy and small flip video camera everywhere.  I gave them a few private moments together, and then I took out the flip camera and videoed their first few moments together as an engaged couple.  I put the short video together with some music and emailed it off to them today.

I personally happened to have a surprise marriage proposal that was captured on video as well, and it’s one of my most favorite things to watch.  To see the emotions of shock, delight and love is something that I will always treasure.  I tried to help capture those first real moments for this sweet couple and although I am no professional on the camera, I hope they enjoy the sentiment!
