WEEKLY WRAP UP!
January 15, 2009
Highlights from this week’s good deeds:
Steph has continued to receive donations for her upcoming marathon! Not to mention, warm and inspiring emails as well. She leaves on Friday to run a marathon in support of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The race is this Sunday, January 18th, in Arizona.
It’s still not too late to donate:

Thanks to those of you who voted on my conflict if being a good friend = a good deed. The majority voted that you can be a good friend and do a good deed simultaneously. Thanks for your input!
So a few of you have let me know that you have signed up for daily reminders to click and help feed the hungry, give free mamograms, help a child in need get healthcare, help a child in need attain literacy, help protect the rainforest, and help feed rescued animals. This is the easiest, simpliest, good deed you can do that’ll cost you diddly. Jump on the kindness train people. It doesn’t get any easier than this!

I have started the “recycling project” here in my building and at Matt’s work. So far we have collected lots of bottles and cans! I am going to go to the recycling center next week (when we really have a lot of recyclables). I will keep you all posted!
Thank you again for your emails about your own good deeds and acts of kindness. I love the fact that people are catching on to the phrase that “Kindness is Contagious.” Because honestly, it truly is.
