PARKING ANGEL
January 8, 2009
After having dinner with some friends tonight, a “good deed” idea hit me. (And good thing too, as it was approaching 10:00pm and I hadn’t figured out what good deed I was going to do today).
The parking garage we we parked in had a parking fee to get out. I decided to be a “parking angel”. Say what?! I wrote a nice little note on a stranger’s car with the fee for parking. The letter read as follows:
Today, you have been chosen by the “parking angel.”
Please use this money to pay for your parking today on her.
If you’ve already paid for your parking ahead of time, save the money and use it for next time.
Please pass this note on and be the “parking angel” for someone else someday.
Practice random acts of kindness, and thank you for your contribution to our world!
Love,
Your “Parking Angel”
So that’s it. Simple, silly perhaps, but hopefully just sweet enough to brighten someone’s day!

Great idea on being a parking angel…must have been a truly delicious meal with great company to inspire.
